About me

I am Jakob Arborelius, a European Patent Attorney with experience in patent drafting and prosecution since 2007. I am also a registered European Trademark and Design Attorney.I hold a Master of Science degree in Material Physics from Uppsala University and have prior experience in nuclear fuel material development.Through ARB Patent, I work independently and provide flexible support to companies and IP teams in patent drafting and prosecution, as well as in freedom-to-operate analyses, infringement assessments, and intellectual property advisory work.I have worked with a broad range of technologies and value close collaboration with inventors, engineers, and innovation-driven companies. My experience spans a variety of technical fields, including Norway’s oil and gas, renewable energy, and aquaculture industries. More recently, my work has involved drafting and prosecuting patent applications for computer-implemented inventions, including cloud-based services, mobile applications, and systems for collecting, processing, and communicating sensor information.
